Fishing report
Didn't Get The Snow They Predicted on Otter Tail Lake!
Perch are being caught in 8 to 10 feet of water, but you will be sorting. Catch is frequent - but of all sizes.
Walleyes were slower last week but we are finding them in 25 to 40 feet of water this week.
Sunfish and crappies are better on local small lakes - so you'll see a lot of action here.
Walleye and Northern fishing closes on February 27th at midnight - so come up for "fishing closer". Houses DO NOT have to be off until March 7th.
Give us a call at 218-495-2895 for the latest - we hope to put you on some fish! Gary at Ken's Tackle on Otter Tail Lake.

RE: Fishing report
Otter Tail Fisherman's Wish Came True - You can Drive Anywhere!
With the snow melt down, reports are great for driving to your favorite destination. We do have plowed roads for you to take advantage of. Snow mobiles and 4 wheelers are the best means of transportation if you want to go off the beaten path. So come on up and take advantage of ice fishing while it's still possible.
We are so excited about the increased capability of fishing - we better talk about what is working!
Walleye bite is in 25 to 35 feet of water. And our nice size Perch is being caught on the flats in around 10 feet.
We understand ice is a problem in some parts of the state. Our ice is good - a good 2+ feet of ice. So we are in good shape.
Remember, we have lodging with resorts and motels in the area - so take a break and come fishing!

Fishing Can be Up and Down Otter Tail Lake - Just Like the Weather
We do have roads plowed an now hope to keep things open for you for the rest of the season. We don't want this to be a factor. Snowmobiles or track vehicles are the best mode of transportation of course.
Fishermen are catching Perch and Walleye in 10 to 30 feet of water. Panfish on Walker, East Lost and West Battle Lake are producing fish as well.
Give us a call for the latest, we have availability and we hope you come and experience the great lakes in our area. Fish house and equipment rental is available 7 days a week.
