RE: Kens Tackle Fishing report

The Walleye Bite is Good!
By Gary Peterson, Ken's Tackle
August 28th

The walleye bite is good on Otter Tail Lake. If you go in the morning, use jigs and minnows in 7 to 12 feet of water. Day bite is working best with crawlers and harnesses in 20 to 30 feet.

Nite bite is producing with crank baits after 9:00 pm in 5 to 10 feet of water.

Panfish bite on lakes has been pretty good around the weed edges or in the weeds.

Bass bite has slowed down a bit in the area. If you like to fish Muskie - check out West Battle Lake in 10 to 20 feet of water.

For the latest - give Gary a call at Ken's Tackle at 218-595-2895.

RE: Kens Tackle Fishing report

Crappie Bite is ImprovingP

Otter Tail Lake fishing is getting better. Crawlers bait of choice for walleyes in 8 to 25 feet of water. Humps are beginning to show fish as well.
Crank bait is good in 7 to 10 feet of water on flats in the evening after 8:00 p.m.
Sunfish have been good on all lakes. Crappie bite improves every week. Water temps are ranging between 75 and 82 degrees on all lakes. Which makes it tough in keeping minnows live.
Come on over to Ken's Tackle on the west side of Otter Tail Lake. We'll help put you on the spots! Give us a call for an update at 218-495-2895.
